And in the global knowledge economy, English language communication skills are\u00a0vital for professional success, social mobility and personal fulfilment.<\/p>\n<p>With English, as with any language, the key to effective communication is vocabulary. Other\u00a0aspects of language \u2013 grammar and pronunciation, for example \u2013 are important, too, and\u00a0without them little can be communicated. But without words, nothing can be communicated.\u00a0Words mean the world.<\/p>\n<p>Alphary\u2019s mission is to harness the power of natural language processing and link it to the\u00a0resources of the world\u2019s best language reference materials, including the suite of Oxford\u00a0dictionaries, in order to transform the way that vocabulary \u2013 and language \u00ad is learnt.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cOxford Vocabulary Trainer powered by Alphary\u201d is the first product in the spirit of this\u00a0mission. It is an adaptive vocabulary learning app for intermediate and pre\u00adintermediate\u00a0students.
