Papers on the following topics are particularly welcome:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Linked lexical data and its presentation<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Automation of lexicographical processes<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Exploitation of language resources: monolingual and multilingual corpora, learner corpora, lexical databases (e.g. Wordnet, Framenet, DANTE, encyclopedia, Wikipedia)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Crowdsourcing and its use in lexicography<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">New reference tools with a dictionary element (e.g. learning tools, writing assistants)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Dictionary writing systems and other software available to the lexicographer<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Integration of NLP tools (grammatical annotation, speech synthesis, etc.)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Dictionary content in new media (tablets, mobile devices, etc.)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Usage practices of the users of electronic dictionaries<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Automated customisation of dictionaries to users&#8217; needs and characteristics (proficiency level, mother tongue, etc.)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Integration of electronic dictionaries into language learning and teaching (CALL, translator training, etc.)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Abstracts<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The abstracts, to be submitted by <strong>22 January 2015<\/strong>, should be between <strong>300-500 words<\/strong> in length (excluding references), and should describe the contents of the proposed presentation and\/or paper. The abstract should also give an indication of whether the presented researched or project is already completed or is still in progress, or whether the presentation will be a demo. In order to give a presentation at the conference, you must have your abstract accepted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The abstracts should be submitted via EasyChair: <a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=elex2015\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=elex2015<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There will be four categories of presentation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Full paper (25 minutes, including discussion)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Software presentation (25 minutes, including discussion)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Short paper (15 minutes, including discussion)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Poster<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The posters are intended to present research still at a preliminary stage and on which researchers would like to get feedback.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The conference aims to explore innovative developments in the field of electronic lexicography.
