Electronic lexicography in the 21st century (eLex) conferences aim to explore innovative developments in the field of lexicography. We are in an interdisciplinary field, and eLex brings together specialists in dictionary publishing, corpus lexicography, software development, language technology, language learning and teaching, translations studies and theoretical and applied linguistics.

eLex 2023

The eighth eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: will be held in Brno, Czech Republic, 27-29 June 2023. The meeting will be hosted by Lexical Computing.

The seventh eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: was held online, 5-7 July 2021. The conference was be organized by Lexical Computing.

2019

eLex 2019

The sixth eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: was held in Sintra, Portugal, 1-3 October 2019. The meeting was be hosted by Centre of General and Applied Linguistics Studies (CELGA-ILTEC), University of Coimbra.

2017

eLex 2017

The fifth eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: was held in Holiday Inn Leiden, Netherlands, 19-21 September 2017. The meeting was hosted by INT (Institute of Dutch Language).

2015

eLex 2015

The fourth eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: Linking Lexical Data in the digital age was held in Herstmonceux Castle (UK) from 11 to 13 August 2015.

2013

ELEX 2012

The third eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: thinking outside the paper was held in Tallinn (Estonia) from 17 to 19 October 2013. The conference was preceded by two workshops, Preparing for the electronic age (organized by Erlandsen Media Publishing), and SKEW4 (organized by Lexical Computing Ltd.).

2011

ELEX 2010

The second eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: new applications for new users was held in Bled (Slovenia) from 10 to 12 November 2011.

2009

eLex 2009

The first eLex conference Electronic Lexicography in the 21st century: new challenges, new applications was held in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) from 22 to 24 October 2009.

Proceedings of each eLex conference are published by Lexical Computing CZ s.r.o., Brno, Czech Republic in a series with ISSN 2533-5626: Electronic lexicography in the 21st century. Proceedings of eLex ... conference. Each proceedings can be accessed online under website of the respective year of the conference.
