Electronic lexicography in the 21st century (eLex) conferences aim to explore innovative developments in the field of lexicography. We are in an interdisciplinary field, and eLex brings together specialists in dictionary publishing, corpus lexicography, software development, language technology, language learning and teaching, translations studies and theoretical and applied linguistics.
The ninth eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: Intelligent Lexicography will be held in Bled (Slovenia) from 18 to 20 November 2025.

The fourth eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: Linking Lexical Data in the digital age was held in Herstmonceux Castle (UK) from 11 to 13 August 2015.
The third eLex conference Electronic lexicography in the 21st century: thinking outside the paper was held in Tallinn (Estonia) from 17 to 19 October 2013. The conference was preceded by two workshops, Preparing for the electronic age (organized by Erlandsen Media Publishing), and SKEW4 (organized by Lexical Computing Ltd.).
